Visitors

N's sister Kejal popped over a few weeks ago and whilst the weather was pretty poor for her stay we did manage to fit in a little trip to Lisbon.

N and I have been flying in and out of there for months now but never actually visited so with Kejal and a borrowed sat nav we headed off to explore the city.

The city reminded me of San Francisco, sharp hills and trams buzzing by.

Pretty colourful buildings.

So much amazing street art.

Such a beautiful city, we hope to go back soon and stay for longer than a day. There's so much more to see that we couldn't fit in in one afternoon. We mainly stayed around the Bairro Alto region exploring the shops, eating and drinking and being entertained by the street performers!

Til next time Lisboa.

Latest Style Musings

My iphone is still a massive fixture in my life, I couldn't even give it up when I moved here.
I'm sadly too attached to all the funky apps, my favourite (if a little temperamental) being
Style.com.

Two photographers from Style.com once took my picture at Glastonbury Festival, whilst I was massively flattered that they liked my style I didn't make the final edit, which my boyfriend at the time very sweetly pointed out "you're not going to get in it anyway"

Since then (despite the snub) I've loved the opportunity to sneak a peak at the fashionable young things at parties/events across the globe and gawp at their awesome outfits and remember the time when it was almost me!

Photos all available at style.com

Meanwhile Spencer...

Is still having oodles of fun in Cornwall and has become dad's best friend which is just lovely as dad was never a dog lover!

Look What I Found

This overly adorable picture of two very excited young adults on their way to Paris, despite the snow and train cancellations plaguing the Eurostar that long weekend..

Then at 12:30 she got a big kick up the arse.

Yep Yep Yep

I'm a lazy toad. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

Thank goodness I've still managed to keep hold of my 5 followers and they haven't given up hope of me writing a refreshingly different and meaningful post, you good souls you.

If I'm honest I've been suffering a bit of late, lots of things weighing heavy on my mind and big decisions to be let out of the bag (more on this later this week I hope) but if I'm really brutally honest with myself I just don't feel like I have anything important to say, as life at the moment is so peaceful, tranquil and detached from any other life I've known, perhaps (dare I say it) to ordinary and bland to document?

Blogging is made extremely harder here by the LAME internet access Portugal has to offer, which as you can imagine it's hard to motivate yourself to post stories when your internet is at dial up speed-urgh.

{inserts pissed off internet photobooth face}

ramblings over, lets get on with this show.
