Festive Times, Happy Times, Sad Times...

Oh my goodness where did the holidays go? Already it's NYE and I've been back at work for 3 days, woe is me!

Festive times in Cornwall were C H I L L E D no worries, just relaxed with mum and dad, hung out with family and saw my beautiful niece and nephew. Kudos to my parents for making the place so festive, 2 trees(!)lots of presents and finally got some shu ulmera eyelash curlers, my peepers have never looked so pretty ;) Mum and I eventually got round to booking our girls only New York trip, giving us both something to focus on and look forward too. I've never been much of a saver but I'm hoping this trip should help me start.
Mum and Dad also gave us a HUGE coffee table, exactly the kind we were looking for to fit in our lounge, it really completes the room. AND a huge mirror for above our bedroom fireplace, I'm so happy with it, will be posting some pictures after we've done a wee bit of decorating!

Sad times that I've put on too much weight, time to get my arse into gear and tone up, would ideally love another Ministry of Sound Pump it up DVD as the music is incredibly motivating however with the new MASSIVE coffee table there's not much space to move and boyf is struggling to play Band Hero! Along with the DVD I'd like MOSs "Running Trax" CD to jog along too, no doubt with all the other festive porkers tee hee.
Also my bike was stolen on Christmas Eve Eve, so upsetting as that's twice in one year, made me very glad that my bike was a cheap pink mountain monstrosity rather than a vintage beauty. Must crack on and buy another one otherwise it'll be a long cold walk to and from the train station...eek!

Onward to 2011, cannot wait to see what the new year will bring but I will be welcoming it with open arms and a very sparkly number. Being superstitious I would say if you want your new year to sparkle better make a sparkly effort with your outfit, umm or something along those lines!

Happy New Year to y'all- have a smashing one :D

Home...

It's nearly that time of the year, where I drag my unwilling boyfriend to the edge of the country to see my darling family, not that he's unwilling to see my family it's the 5 hour journey that drives him nuts. As much as I love living on the outskirts of London I do miss the tranqill and peaceful Westcountry. Mum and Dad have been working so hard on their house and with two Christmas trees the 24th couldn't come sooner.

One and a half work weeks to go!

ps PLEASE SNOW!

Life, oh life

Sorry little blog, I have been neglecting you of late. Mainly because I doubt myself a lot (who wants to hear my thoughts?) The reading of other peoples blogs seem much more enjoyable too I love the following blogs as does everyone else:

1) Cup of Jo
2) Rockstar Diaries
3) English Muse

Such beautiful, sweet blogs.

On that note I heard this song whilst in Brighton on Monday, instantanious bliss.

Note to self* Listen, drink tea, relax, life is too short.

Lots of Love. x
