Who would you be?

My friend David asked me a really difficult question whilst we were at Glastonbury,

If you could be one front woman of a band forever who would you be.....

Sooooo hard right??

I think I have my answer... for now

Stevie Nicks is very cool,I don't think I could ever get tired of singing Gold Dust Woman or Gypsy. Picture from here

Who would you be?

Round and Round the Garden, Like a Teddy Bear.

This weekend my in-laws are coming round to start sorting out our little garden into something a bit more nature friendly and aesthetically pleasing. At the moment our garden is a rather dull patch of grass with decking and a washing line. I love the look of the following gardens so homely, snug and quite welcoming. With a little creativiness this weekend maybe we could have something along these lines.

All beautiful photos are taken from the ideal homes website where I will be hanging out all afternoon- toodles x x x

Love Love Love it!

Ever since Glastonbury I have a few musical crushes I need to share...

La Roux, Florence and the Machine and The Horrors.

Music is so 80's at the moment and I'm lapping up all of it before it becomes uncool again, or is it already uncool?!

If you don't know them already, download the following immediately or spotify them!

I miss Glastonbury... xx

It's just another manic Monday.

Weekend over, jam packed and full of fun things, as always.

Saturday I found the engagement ring of my dreams, I can't quite believe it's mine it feels too good to be true. It came in a bundle with my wedding ring and I'm over the moon with them both I couldn't have wished for better so all in all. Only problem I have is my freakishly small fingers (size I.5) so I couldn't take the rings home there and then, they should be ready this week. I'm hideously impatient, so until then here are the beauties....ooooooh x

My boyfriend and I then caught the tube to Notting Hill, met our friend Ben and drove home to spend the rest of the evening cooking fajitas, watching Family Guy and spending time with this little fella, the other man in my life, Spencer....Perfect. x

Ring a ding kid...

This weekend I'm getting to choose my engagement ring *wahhhhhh. I count myself extremely lucky that my boyfriend has the good sense to propose in an original way and let me choose the ring of my dreams for myself rather than presenting me with a pear shaped diamond, I would've been crying for the wrong reasons.

Personally as I don't wear any jewellery I would like something big and blingy, as long as it looks great on my slightly bent finger then I will be a happy, anyone I've said this too has looked at me in horror, each to there own I guess.

Unfortunately for both of us I am one of the most indecisive people you will ever meet therefore choosing a ring maybe a little tricky. I really hope that I can choose one and not come away empty handed. I've narrowed it down to a princess cut diamond and a platinum band, knowing me I will be coming home with a yellow heart shaped monstrosity because it looked good in the shop. Must work hard to concentrate on the task in hand tomorrow!

So far (online) I've found one ring, one ring to rule them all here. Seriously, tomorrow I think all the other rings are screwed compared to this bad boy. Good luck Hatton Garden, you're going to need it.

Polaroid

Is it true? Are they stopping producing polaroid cameras and film? If it is, that's so sad.

I've never owned a polaroid camera and only have one polaroid picture of me, I need to get one before it's too late.

This polaroid is from www.fanny.foodbeam.com

Isn't it beautiful?

Heal the World

In front of my little computer space at work is a big ol' map of the world normally it blends into the background but today it's torturing my very core. I haven't seen nearly enough of it, not even a respectable amount it frightens me to think that I might not ever.

So many friends have done the travelling bit early on, I think that Luke and I will have to be the groovy older hippies exploring the world in our 50's or even 60's like this....giggles.

The place I most want to visit is India. My dear nan was born near Mumbai and lived most of her childhood in a boarding school near the Himalayas taught by nuns. She always told stories of the cruel nuns that taught her and her 6 sisters and the beautiful country that surrounded them everyday. She even has a cool Indian/Devonshire accent and says things like "Oh Darling" which makes us laugh. Nan's are great.

I promise....

Cute huh? I think I would have to change "get the mail" and "pack the lunch" round, but there's no way I'm catching any spiders.
