Incy Wincy Spider

Good Evening!

Has anyone else in the UK found that this "Summer" more and more Spiders have been getting into your house and they seem to be getting bigger & bigger?

Every day I find 3 or 4 new spiders in the house and I'm freaking out : S

A friend at work has just bought a plug in spider repellent which sends out ultrasonic and electro magnetic waves to get rid of the little blighters, I hope it works then I can buy several!

My Favourite Places

To me there is no better place than snuggled up on the sofa with Spencer (or h2b) or walking around St Ives in Cornwall- Print in the background, as St Ives is around a 6 hour drive away, I will make do with the sofa for now.

Sorry....

Oh my sweet sweet blog, how I have neglected you so, I don't know why I've left you so long without a little blogginess but I'll try not to do it again *slap on wrist.

Mainly I have been doing up the house before our big engagement party here, hubby-to-be is working hard on improving the garden and I've been working on my wardrobe room, yes that's right, wardrobe room!

I've bought a shop clothes rail to hang all my clothes on, it's around 6 feet long so just enough space (just!) now I'm finishing up the second coat of magnolia and then I can slowly add some finishing touches, I do however need a gorgeous floor length mirror like ths one....

Will post some pictures when I think the room looks presentable enough!

Also as the weather in England/London has been frustrating this summer, baking sunshine one moment, flash flooding the next I can't keep up. My little purple rain mac is being used to it's full potential on my little cycles to work, it's a shame I look like a train spotter in it.
So we (hubby-to-be and I have decided on a 10 day Fly drive from San Fran to LA in the beginning of October. We"re so, so excited but have no idea where to start! So far we're thinking 3 days in San Fran, ending with 2 days in LA but it's the bits in between which are the mystery. If anyone out there can recommend some good places on the drive between and hotels too that would be amazing!

I've always wanted an adventure and I know this one is going to be so much fun.

Who would you be?

My friend David asked me a really difficult question whilst we were at Glastonbury,

If you could be one front woman of a band forever who would you be.....

Sooooo hard right??

I think I have my answer... for now

Stevie Nicks is very cool,I don't think I could ever get tired of singing Gold Dust Woman or Gypsy. Picture from here

Who would you be?

Round and Round the Garden, Like a Teddy Bear.

This weekend my in-laws are coming round to start sorting out our little garden into something a bit more nature friendly and aesthetically pleasing. At the moment our garden is a rather dull patch of grass with decking and a washing line. I love the look of the following gardens so homely, snug and quite welcoming. With a little creativiness this weekend maybe we could have something along these lines.

All beautiful photos are taken from the ideal homes website where I will be hanging out all afternoon- toodles x x x

Love Love Love it!

Ever since Glastonbury I have a few musical crushes I need to share...

La Roux, Florence and the Machine and The Horrors.

Music is so 80's at the moment and I'm lapping up all of it before it becomes uncool again, or is it already uncool?!

If you don't know them already, download the following immediately or spotify them!

I miss Glastonbury... xx
