Such a hard question...mainly difficult as it's transient....

15 year old Luke = Tom DeLonge from Blink182
then I grew up a little bit
16 year old Luke = Billy Joe from Greenday
then Muse were everything
17 year old Luke = Matt Bellamy
then I went a bit indie
18 year old Luke = hmm...not Liam or Noel, perhaps Rick Witter from Shed 7??
Ooo...somewhere in here I should have mentioned Kelly Jones (although he's a little short)...however, I wouldn't want to be him FOREVER as Stereophonics are pretty shit now.
So hard.
On reflection, as I've considered my teenage idols - I think the ultimate answer would have to be Dave Grohl for any guy. Reasons being:
a) Nirvana
b) Foo Fighters, although some phases of their existence have been extreeeeemly boring and samey - they're generally a bloody good band
c) He's bloody funny and seems to enjoy life a lot
d) He's a phenomenal drummer and plays with other cool bands like QOTSA and Tenacious D

ReplyDeleteI know she's not in a band but could I be Bjork? she is suitably insane and I could leap around and wear outlandish outfits and sing with choirs and harps. And just be a genius!
And if I could be a boy... agreeing about David Grohl in Luke's choice but as he's nabbed him,
I might have to be obvious and be Mick Jagger circa the 67 Hyde Park gig.
Or Perry Farrel.. yes Perry Farrel would do me nicely as he's also a sex god!
