So....I went to Paris part 1

To fully describe the amazing trip to Paris I have to split this up into 3 parts...

35mm photography first..on my beautiful new (old) camera Olympus XA2

With no agenda other than being Parisian cool, Nilesh and I stayed in St Germain, explored Paris by taxi and walked around this beautiful city amazed by how friendly all the Parisians were to us.

These are my favourite shots from the day film and cross processed film Nilesh gave me, I'm so pleased with how they turned out, also I've forgotten how fun it is when you get film developed : )

(Top picture is the view from our hotel balcony-St Germain)

This made me giggle lots today.

A Little Night Cycle.

I've been working these past couple of days and typically the sun has been beaming down whilst I'm stuck inside the office. Not that I can complain too much about work, I'm really enjoying my summer job so far. So this evening, as I'm alone, I decided to take my bike (Richmond!) and head off on another adventure as the sun was setting.

I took my little camera, of course.....it's no Polaroid though.....someone buy me a Polaroid...

I kept taking pictures of fallen blossom as they looked like hundreds of hearts scattered on the floor, pretty.

As I cycled I listened to my Ipod but kept going back to this song, I love the bass in it : ) watching the video they're on bikes too, it was like it was made for me.

Enjoy!

Smile, though your heart is aching

This week is turning out to be a tough one, so getting out of the house today for some fresh air was vital. I took Spencer, his favourite toy and my little camera and started to snap snap snap away.

I'm so pleased with the way they turned out, here are my favourites..
