Braidy Bunch

Currently I'm rocking the side plait look.

It has it's downfall of making me look like I am still 14, however when I can't be bothered to roll out of bed and wash my hair at 6am it is the prettiest alternative.

All images poached from Pinterest (I would like a membership soon please!)

Top Knotch!

I think, I have finally figured out this top knot trend (months later!) and as for the geek glasses, they're a guilty pleasure for around the house.

Having trouble sleeping after a hectic long weekend at Glastonbury and this intense heat we're having in the UK. No air-con here, we just open all the windows and hope no big spiders creep in... or burglars for that matter.

These little buggers live on the fence in the back garden and I don't fancy a close encounter with them anytime soon.

Just looking at that picture freaks me out.

Lists for the unemployed.

Lists, I love them and in 9 days time I shall be officially unemployed (by choice)and my list of things to do is ever increasing. I actually think I'm just petrified of being bored so in preparation I've started my "list for the unemployed" and it goes a little something like this....

Make a quilt

Start gardening

Re-do our window boxes (more pansies)

Finish the dining room with charity shop/vintage pieces

Paint our bedroom

Keep on running

Volunteering

Teach Spencer to "high five"

Research and prepare for teaching interview.

After several years of shift work I think this list should really have catch up on sleeeeeep as the first point, but making a quilt sounds like fun : )

I wonder how long it will take me to stop waking up in a panic every 3am thinking I'm late?

Of course there are more important things to worry about like bill paying and not being able to go within a 5 mile radius of Topshop but I LOVE a challenge.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang

Top Not?

Why oh why oh why when I try to put my hair into a top knot I end up looking like a retarded cave woman and not like this....

I'm down but I'm not out, I'm determined to get this look down before the week is out!
