This has been occupying my summer so far, I can't complain though it's been a great summer to date.



When I'm not there I've mainly been at another festival....this was Standon Calling, a great little up and coming festival. If you go remember to take your bikini, there's a swimming pool!

Hi Hi!

Okay Okay so I'm late, don't hate me!

I'm not totally to blame though for my tardiness, or complete lack of blogging of late. The blame lays partly with my job partly with my new phone. Yes I have bought an iphone4 and I have never felt more organised or simultaneously out of touch at the same time.

It feels like all my teenage dreams have come true in this one devilishly good looking piece of equipment and all my free time has been consumed with playing with old school technology friends Facebook, Twitter, MSN and meeting new ones Hipstamatic, IncrediBooth and an ever necessary tip calculator...it's worth having one right?!

Oh Hi There!

Wow, sorry that was a long pause in blogging, sorry, summer shift work has slightly taken over my life and if I'm totally honest last of blogging inspiration, meh.

But... hey I'm back *waves* and I'm very glad I still have my 4 followers (phew!)

Hey There!

Having a tough few days at the moment so ignoring all of that crap I'm mostly laughing at this picture from the recent Glasto fest.




Me the moment I realised I was wearing German colours at the England match, it was a miracle I wasn't bottled, whoops.

Sleep, shopping and pastures new.

Urggggghh, I'm tired, so tired. One night shift has wiped me off the face of the planet, I've aged 10 years in one 8 hour shift and the damage is done.

Despite this, I am indeed loving my summer job, what I'm enjoying most of all is getting to know all the lovely people I'm working with. I honestly feel like I've been in solitary confinement for years I love that people want to talk to me and get to know me, I'm lapping up all the attention and feel very happy because of it.

Equally I'm enjoying the days when I'm not in work and can walk the dog, cook food and relax without interruptions. Today I decided to be brave and drive 20 mins up the motorway to Harlow and explore *ahem, shop* the area.

Here are some of my summer purchases, I try to go with style rather than fashion...but I couldn't resist the cute purple skirt.




You can't ever have enough breton striped tops, this was £5 in the sale from River Island




Same can be said for striped jumpers (!)



Summery skirt is a must in this humid weather, another sale snatch at £6.





Cute necklace and a broach from the Topshop sale.




All finished off with some very cool mini wedges from Primark, with my diy french pedicure...


Have a gorgeous weekend kids, I'm working and it's going to be 30 degrees...wow!
